IT Roo's Best Chicken Chop in town from JB Jalan Dhoby has started its 2nd outlet in Tmn Sutera Utama JB! Different from the old shop in Jalan Dhoby, IT Roo Taman Sutera Utama has a new and modern look, rendering it more attractive. 

Loving the chicken chop of IT Roo but it is very hard to look for parking in Jalan Dhoby? There are ample car parks here. 

Wild Mushroom Soup

The presentation of dishes in the new IT Roo has also been improved. Wild mushroom soup with garlic bread, not sure if this is a new item in the menu, I have not seen or ordered it in the old IT Roo. The mushroom soup is smooth and creamy, very matching with the buttered garlic bread.   

Breadstick

This is definitely something new.With full and generous cheese on top of the breads, it resembles pizza. Cut into biting size, it is handy to eat. 

Chicken Chop with Black pepper sauce

Chicken chop with black pepper sauce is a signature dish in IT Roo, simple yet classic. Moving towards modern style, the dishes here are served in pure white flat plates, instead of the homey-looked plates. You will also definitely notice the chef has put in more effort in presenting the dishes, BUT the taste remains. 

Chicken Chop with Teriyaki Sauce

Out of curiosity, we also ordered Chicken Chop with Teriyaki Sauce. Chicken thigh is grilled to perfection, coated with the savoury teriyaki sauce and sprinkled with sesame, it tastes awesome.

Taiwanese Cafe has attractive exterior design, with several billboard marked with different street food and snack on it to create the feel of night market in Taiwan. With their menu (including crispy salted chicken, braised pork rice, spring onion pancake, mango snowflake and etc.) written on the billboard, how can passers by resist themselves from visiting the cafe? Yes, we were the passers by who unable to resist ourselves from entering this premises!

Honey Pamelo Tea 蜂蜜生柚子茶  RM6.90

Honey Pamelo Tea for two. The dried pamelo skin is brewed with honey, sounds and tastes so nourishing and refreshing, a well balance of sweet and sour.

Smoked Duck Salad 烟熏鸭沙拉  RM9.90

Smoked Duck Salad is a dish of fusion, the smoked duck is very flavourful and savoury, perfectly matched with the fresh vegetables. It is really suitable to open up our appetite.

Steamboat Set 火锅套餐  RM16.90

Steamboat Set for one pax, but we ordered an extra bowl of rice to share the portion. The set meal comprised of a steamboat, crispy salted chicken, pickles and dessert. For the steamboat, diners can opt for their favourite soup base, we have chosen the 沙茶酱汤底 a.k.a. satay sauce. The big portion is definitely worth for the price.
