Jarrod & Rawlins is about the pleasure of enjoying great food
and drink in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. It is as passionate about the
ingredients it uses as it is about serving wholesome and hearty food. J&R
first started as a deli bistro in Hartamas, KL in 2005 serving a large variety
of sausages, English breakfasts, bacon sandwiches, steaks, salads and pasta
dishes to the expat and Malaysian community.
Since then, the original bistro deli has developed into a gastropub
concept. However, it still offers a large variety of comfort food dishes and
much more in a casual setting which is preferred by our customers and regulars.

& Rawlins is evolving, whether it’s the wine bar, pub, deli or
restaurant at any one of our outlets you are experiencing. But the basic
principles on which the brand was built remain and that is to provide a relaxed
environment with friendly staff and good food and drink, pure and simple,” says founder
Denis Rawlins.
On
Jarrod & Rawlins’ extensive menu, you will find satisfying sausages, hearty
sandwiches, portly steaks and gourmet burgers. A gourmand, Denis conceived and
developed the recipes in his family kitchen, giving them that extra special
homemade quality. What’s more, diners can mix and match dishes to their liking
from the delicatessen counter at the Kota Kinabalu and Ampwalk outlets, which
stocks quality meats, charcuterie, cheeses and antipasti from around the world.
A fine selection of quality wines, champagnes and beers is available to
complete a memorable dining experience.
With
branches in prime locations across Kuala Lumpur and one in Kota Kinabalu, Jarrod
& Rawlins offers a variety of dining experiences to cater for all
occasions. A new branch in Jalan Bangkung, Bangsar, was launched in April 2012
as well and now another branch has now opened in Damansara Plaza.
Jarrod & Rawlins Ampwalk opened in
2007 and recently underwent a refurbishment. The contemporary restaurant with
cream coloured walls and dark wood furniture is an excellent place to wine and
dine, while the convivial bar is great for enjoying a cold pint and a hearty
meal. The delicatessen counter has an array of select cheeses, meats and
antipasti to take away.
Jarrod & Rawlins Kota
Kinabalu opened in 2010 in the buzzing KK Times Square, Sabah. It incorporates
Jarrod & Rawlins’ winning formula of restaurant, bar and delicatessen, with
al fresco opportunities, offering good food and wine in a casual and friendly
ambiance.
Jarrod
& Rawlins Bangsar opened in 2012 in the upscale Bangsar
neighbourhood. Located in a shoplot on tranquil Jalan Bangkung, Jarrod &
Rawlins Bangkung is modelled after a modern British gastro pub, serving
wholesome and hearty food in a smart yet inviting environment suitable for all
occasions.
Jarrod
& Rawlins Damansara Plaza is at the busy hub of Damansara Plaza on the plateau of
Damansara Heights. The layout is totally different from our existing bars and
restaurants. The outlet is a duplex where we have designed the kitchen to be
upstairs. The reason for having the kitchen upstairs is to have a larger
kitchen for our outdoor catering and lunchtime sandwich and salad delivery
headquarters. With J&R DP we decided to make it more of a drinkers bar
where you can watch sports all day and have a delicious restaurant quality meal
as well.
