Bangkok Wasabe @ Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara, PJ

Bangkok Wasabe @ Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara, PJ

This is one of the branch of Bangkok Wasabi located in a quiet street in Dataran Sunway, not easy to be discovered. But once I craving for Thai foods, it reminds me Bangkok Wasabi. I tried their cuisine in the Ikano Power Centre's branch (Absolute Thai), I was very impressed, their Thai cuisine very authentic, because the chefs are hired from Thailand. The branch in Ikano is always crowded compared to this one in Dataran Sunway. Hopefully the foods are equally good to the one in Ikano.

The exterior setting of the restaurant was not too customer-friendly, because the closing door. But the interior is totally a different world, warm welcome by the waiters. Everything is good, nice setting, nice ambiance, clean and quiet, perfectly suitable for a comfortable lunch. The menu is ready on the table.
Comfortable seats with cushions with the warm light and passionate red-coloured wall, provides a little sense of romantic.
Fresh Kedodong Juice  RM4.90
Slightly complaint that its was not fully fresh squeeze as stated in menu. Some-more, I noticed that it mixes quite a lot sugar syrup for at least 1/3 portion.. Kinda disappointing with this.
Green Curry Chicken  RM12
I like their green curry, especially the thick gravy with a hint of coconut milk, goes very well with the fragrant white rice. The chicken and vegetables very well cooked too, perfectly absorbed the essence from the curry!
Stir-fried Baby Kailan with Salted Fish  RM10
A portion of green to balance up the diet. Stir-fried baby kailan is quite ordinary though, I more prefer their stir-fried asparagus with prawn, when I was in the branch of Ikano Power Centre.
Deep Fried Garoupa with Thai Chilli Sauce  RM36
Deep fried garoupa coated with Thai Chilli Sauce, simply opens up the flavour by its mixture of spicy and sour!
Tom Yam Seafood Soup Fire Pot  RM9 / RM17 / RM32
How I can I miss out Tom Yam when I walked in a Thai's cuisine restaurant? Their Tom Yam Seafood Soup definitely warm up my stomach with its mild spiciness. The generous portion of seafood inside the soup  just added another credit to the soup itself.

Overall, I am very satisfied with their service. Their foods were not disappointed me too, still good and very Thai-local, especially its green curry and Tom Yam seafood, will back for that with my favourite stir-fried asparagus, I am missing it!
