Heng Heng Hainanese Chicken Rice 兴兴烧腊海南鸡饭 @ Kulaijaya, Johor

Besides the popular duck rice in Kulaijaya, there were another popular chicken rice as well. Today, I just had my lunch at this place. It was located at Kulaijaya old town. It was one of the popular Hainanese chicken rice shop in Kulai area. They were well popular among Kulai-ian for their daily breakfast or lunch meal.

A very simple and traditional setting of shop, with a plaque of shop name.
Roasted Chicken and Roasted Pork for 1 pax RM5
The benefit to have a meal in a small town apart from city, I can have a big portion of food with reasonable price!
A must try with chicken rice topped with extra gravy. I requested for extra gravy, which is a little bit sweet and sticky, make my rice more fragrance, special and nice.

Wallop Pork Burgers @ SS2, Petaling Jaya

Wallop Pork Burgers @ SS2, Petaling Jaya

It had been awhile getting know about this cafe which selling pork burgers. Honestly, there were very few cafe specifically selling only pork burgers, beside the well-known Ninja Joe. Therefore in my notes, it will be second cafe in town selling only pork burgers in their premise.

As a facts they make their own patties only from fresh premium meat. All patties are grill without oil.  Again, in the making of every wallop burger, they apply fresh ingredients and therefore are free from preservatives or colorings.
Wallop Pork Burger in SS2 neighbourhood. Most of the people choose to kick start their business in shopping mall, but Wallop Pork Burger opts to have it in a residential area.
Cute drawing on the board. The Cafe also provides free wifi.
The interior design is based heavily on 2 contrast colour, red and white. The sharp colours caught my attention everytime I passed by.

Menu is displayed on the signboard above the counter. Choose from mama wallop (single), papa wallop (double) or sergeant wallop (triple).
Beside order from usual menu, you can build your own burger as well. From grilled bacon, extra cheese, mushrooms, pineapple slice and poached egg from RM1.10 ~ RM1.30 for each selection.
Mamma Wallop with Mushrooms  RM7.10
This is Mama wallop main for ladies' customer, with one pork patty. Undeniably, it tastes good with the fresh made patty, marinated well and juicy. The mushrooms are well cooked too, remains springy. Enjoyed every bites of it. I do not know whether it is too good or the portion is just too small, feel like want to have more.
Papa Wallop Burger  RM9.80
Double patty pork burger for man. Or you are a bigger eater, you may choose sergeant wallop to satisfy your stomach!
Mamma Wallop Burger with Grilled Bacon  RM7.30
Single patty pork burger with grilled bacon. My second burger after the Pappa wallop. lol. I like the grilled bacon which is not too salty.
To be honest, the pork patty is slight thinner than expected.. But with that price, what more can be expected? I simply can eat three patties with this sizes. Therefore, I advise the guys straight order triple patties burger, awesome delicious.

Aunty Lan Homemade Noodles 兰姐私房面 @ Kota Damansara, PJ

Aunty Lan Homemade Noodles 兰姐私房面 @ Kota Damansara

After a long busy week, I decided to give some rest to my body. I can felt my stomach now overwhelming with all those delicious and good foods. Oh yeah, I tried to have something light today. So I went for simple meal at Aunty Lan Homemade Noodles.
Aunty Lan Homemade Noodles famous with their 100% natural handmade noodles with no preservative and no coloring. The main concern of the restaurant is all about healthy lifestyle. They provide different types of noodles too. In term of noodles types, you can choose from hand tear noodles, fine noodles, instant noodles with no preservative added or hand made mee hoon.
The mirror on the wall makes the restaurant looks bigger and broader.
The owner is fancy to Hello Kitty too?
A refillable green tea with a teapot
Kimuchi Fish Meat Soup Noodle  RM9.90
The spiciness of soup you can choose from mild/medium/extra hot flavour depend on your own ability. I was quite impressed by the deep fried fish meat which was fresh and smooth taste. Just slightly complaint on the soup, it can be using the real kimuchi instead of kimuchi paste. I simply cannot find single pieces of kimuchi in my soup and it was totally out of my calculation  when I look for real kumuchi noodle. However, it is still a nice soup noodles if they are not claiming it as a Kimuchi Fish Meat Soup Noodles.
Sweet Soya Sauce Chicken Dry Noodle  RM9.90
I like this fine noodles very much. I feel the noodles very chewy in my mouth, as I purposely ordered in dry condition to taste how chewy of its. Besides this, the drumstick was stewed to perfect. The meat was totally absorb all the sweet soya sauce from outside to inside, very flavourful.
Durian Cheese Cake
RM7.90 per pcs    RM65 (8" whole cake)
Very strong aromatic of durian flavor. I love it very much as I love durian. I believed that they were not using any unbleached seasoning during baking process to boost the durian flavour.

Restaurant Ho Ho Sek 好好吃 @ SS2 Chow Yang, PJ

Restaurant Ho Ho Sek 好好吃 @ SS2 Chow Yang, PJ

After being major renovation and re-branding of this kopitiam, It turns into a very modern style kopitiam fully equipped with air-conditional. and indirectly enhance the dining ambiance. So I believe that the ownership of the kopitiam was changed, from the name of Mee Yoke Lim (Famous prawn noodles) into Ho Ho Sek kopitiam. For some info, the famous prawn noodles in it had been moved out and established its very own kopitiam now, just located at the back of this restaurant.
I had look into deep of the kopitiam. I found most of the stall from the previous kopitiam are still standing there except only the Penang Prawn noodles. At first instance, I thought my favourite grilled fish stall was moved, but luckily it is still there and ready to serve me with nice grilled fish. Now, I still can have the best grilled fish at here.
Dry Wantan Noodles  RM5.50
Surprisingly, I never know that this place has a very springy wantan noodles stall. Although the stall is running by foreign workers and not the boss himself, but the noodles is remained good quality. I just love that black sweet sauce mixed with noodles. Awesome nice!
Grilled Stingray + vegetable  RM17
After try several stall of grilled fish, I still find this grilled fish from the uncle himself is the best one. It is much much more better than the branch in Damansara. The previous stalls which I taste were just could not compete to this stall. The skin is crispy while the fresh is juicy. Especially the sambal added on the top of fish is pretty good and mild spicy. I just like this level of spiciness and the freshness of the fish. Heavenly good.

Dubu-Dubu Seoul Food @ Mid Valley City, KL

Dubu-Dubu Seoul Food @ Mid Valley City, KL

Dubu-Dubu is a restaurant running the concept of Korean fast food. Without going Seoul, they serve very original Korean cuisines with all range of dish where you can get it in most Korean restaurant. And here, the price of food is kind affordable and the portion of food is infinite. Other than the attractive price , they also a halal Korean restaurant where everyone deserves good Korean food. It is very suitable for after-work company gathering session with excellent Korean cuisine.

A front desk with dish display.

Spicy Chicken Set  RM17.90
Freshly marinated chicken cubes stir fried in their special dubu-dubu spicy sauce
The food presentation is good, a main dish, 3 side dishes, soup and a rice. Distinguished from other Korean restaurant, they serve brown rice instead of normal white rice. The chicken is good to be stir fried with rice cake. Slightly complaint on the cabbage, it was too oily and really hard to digest in my stomach.
Bulgogi Chicken Set  RM17.90
Tender chicken marinated in Dubu Dubu sweet sauce and pan fried to perfection.
I was longing for a sunny egg for quite a long time, and this meal certainly satisfied me. The chicken gives a hint of ginger fragrance, which close to Chinese-styled cooking. The portion is big too, as it was hardly finished by me, a big boy. lol.
