Restaurant Yong Tau Fu 蒲种十四碑酿豆腐 @ Batu 14 Puchong, Selangor

Restaurant Yong Tau Fu 蒲种十四碑酿豆腐 @ Batu 14 Puchong

After the previous post of Yong Tau Fu, this time I will bring you another favorite Yong Tau Fu spot at Batu 14 Puchong which can be see at the first sight when turning into this Puchong New Village. In front of it, there are a free car park field, so the parking is not a problem at all at peak hour. The business of this shop are just normal compare with the one nearby famous one. However, the taste of Yong Tau Fu here are also fresh and acceptable.

All the Yong Tau Fu here are fresh made from fish paste at the spot at your own choices. If you want, you can stand in front of kitchen to see how they prepare your dishes. I was standing in front of the kitchen to see the whole making process and it is seemed interesting for me.
Homemade black sauce and chili sauce
Every piece of Yong Tau Fu price at RM1.20/pcs.
Here are two different version of Yong Tau Fu, fried and soup base. The fried Yong Tau Fu were crispy and it was good to eat with the black sweet sauce. The taste fall on average level only!
I prefer the Yong Tau Fu cook in soup. Its soup was clear and flavourful.  Surprisingly, they put some "pucuk manis" or "shu zai choy" in the soup.
Pork Knuckle Vinegar  RM12
Its was cooked until soft. Every bite of pork knuckle was an enjoyment of taste bud. I prefer to eat this with a bowl of rice, mixed little bits of vinegar soup with rice is good.

For your information, they have TWO special side dishes available on Sat, Sun and Mon only.
Saturday - Ginger Duck Claypot & Mushroom Chicken Feet Claypot
Sunday - Pork Knuckle & Pork Ribs Claypot
Monday - Hakka Roasted Pork Claypot & Ginger Duck Claypot
