JomBali Cafe @ Tesco Extra, Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya

JomBali Cafe @ Tesco Extra, Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya

Today everyone here are celebrating a special date for Malaysian, is our National Day. As common knowledge, Malaysia is a multiracial country and all Malaysian are celebrating the same festival and join the happening festival together. Today, I want introduce Jombali, A Truly Malaysian Favorites in order to celebrate this happening National Day. From the menu of Jombali, I can see that this cafe is created to suit the Malaysian's taste-bud. All the foods in the menu majority are local delight which range from Malay food, Chinese food, even Indian food and so for Western food. It truly the essence of Malaysian food.

 A modern kopitiam style.
Lychee Bandung Selasih  RM6.90
A must order beverage at here. It so refreshing and very traditional drinks.
JomBali Kantonis Fried Sang Mee  RM10.90
A dish that very similar to Chinese Cantonese cooking style - Wok cook and the taste is almost the same with the one can find at Tai Chao. Besides that, they use only fresh ingredients to cook, without much seasoning, the fresh seafood give sufficient saltiness to the noodles.
Bolognese Spaghetti Chicken Meatball  RM14.90
At the early, I see it only a small portion but I'm wrong at last. The portion is enough to fill me up. The sauce is flavorful and the spaghetti are well cooked. Suitable to children too, because the sweet and sour taste, opens up everyone's flavor!

And here, I have to said : Happy National Day to all Malaysian.

Tuan Yuan Taiwanese Cuisine 团圆台湾风味 @ Tropicana City Mall, PJ

Tuan Yuan Taiwanese Cuisine 团圆台湾风味 @ Tropicana City Mall

Recently, I was serious addicted onto Taiwan drama series. Most of time especially the actors are having the typical Taiwanese food like deep fried chicken fillet, Oyster Mee Sua, Minced Pork rice and so for Beef noodles, I'm badly salivate in front of my laptop. Well.. In such coincident timing, I saw one of my friends was posting up a beef noodles. I can't resist the temptation of beef noodles anymore and I headed for this stall and found good Taiwanese Style dishes.
A warm welcome by the Taiwanese Lady, who I guessing she is the owner of this shop.
A very simple decoration yet fully utilize the confine space.
Apple Hawthorn  RM2.50
Sweet-sourish drink, effectively get rid of the spiciness of the "super spicy beef noodles"
Original Big Meal Beef Noodles  RM9.90
The soup is cooked few hours with beef bone and beef, and give a hint of herbs. Indeed very flavourful and goes well with the noodles.
Extra Spicy Beef Mee Sua  RM11.90
This extra spicy beef mee sua is really spicy one, not kidding, make me sweaty after eating. Suitable for spicy lover!

At last, all the meal goes well into my stomach and satisfied with it. Just slightly surprising on the selling price which I found that is too expensive at this place especially the target here are more to youngster who have limited spending budget like me. They should revised their pricing in order to maintain their business.

Absolute Thai Nudle Bar @ Ikano Power Centre, Mutiara Damansara

Absolute Thai Nudle Bar @ Ikano Power Centre, Mutiara Damansara

Yesterday, I was here for my quick dinner as I rushing for my movie screening at e@curve. I passed by this restaurant almost every time I have my shopping there.Whenever I passed by, there always a crowd inside. But luckily thanks to weekdays, yesterday was not so crowded at all and the foods were served rather fast then.
Let have a quick browse on the restaurant interior look. The decor is simple yet comfortable.
The pillow hug which most the ladies/girl like very much. Feel warm, i guess so.

Stir Fried Asparagus with prawn  RM18
Something I craving for is the stir fried asparagus home-style cook. I have a serious homesick right now. My mum always have this dish on the dining table whenever I back to home. It taste crunchy and excellent topped with prawn.
Tom Yam Seafood (single bowl)  RM12.90
When goes for Thai food, do not forget about Tom Yam. I ordered for Tom Yam seafood. It tastes very flavorful and light in color. The coconut milk adds some extra fragrance to the tomyam soup. Don't guess, is spicy!
Stir Fried Chicken with Hot Basil Leaves  RM14.90
This dish is slightly salty. But is good to go with rice.

Overall, the food which I order was very fit to my taste bud and I satisfied with it. Unlike, the price is over-pricing as most of the dish not worth for the price paying.

The Humble Chef Shop @ Plaza Damansara, Bukit Damansara, KL

The Humble Chef @ Plaza Damansara, Bukit Damansara

Most the people around this area might know that The Humble Chef started their business every night by its  own van that parks at Pusat Bandar Damansara near to HELP college. Thankfully, it is now expanded aand operating as a cafe in Bukit Damansara, where customers can eat in a partially air-conditioned setting adorned with local artwork and no worry about weather. Everyone now can enjoy their best pita bread and spaghetti at all time. Do check out my last visit at their mobile stall. FYI, the mobile stall is still operating at the roadside if you prefer the highway scenery.
It is located at the well-known Plaza Damansara at Damansara Height.
It is quite surprised to have nice food at cheap price at this luxurious and exclusive residential area.

 Setting adorned with local artwork
*I like the smiley national flag*

The menu and price were still the remain the same with their mobile stall.
Bolognese Meatballs   RM5
Spaghetti served with beef balls and tomato puree.
Pesto  RM5
Seafood Pesto with blended herbs sauce
Carbonara  RM5
Chicken Carbonara with their special creamy milk sauce.
Aglio e Olio  RM5
Seafood Aglio e Oilo sauteed with garlic and oil.
Humble Chef's Pita  RM4
Lastly, I ordered a Chicken pita to end my meal. It served well with their special homemade mustard sauce. They have a good move on setting up this cafe, and I guess their business will even better than before. Beside this, I also heard that they actually reviewing their old menu now and will insert new items on their menu soon after some fine tune on their recipe. I will come back for the new menu anytime in future.

Kazokutei Handmade Udon & Omurice 家族亭 @ Bugis Junction, Singapore

Kazokutei - Handmade Udon & Omurice 家族亭 @ Bugis Junction

My last station of my Singapore trip-- Bugis Junction. Bugis Junction is nearby to Bugis Street, the shopping paradise for ladies. So, if you went to shopping at Bugis Street, Bugis Junction would be a nice place for you to have dinner there, as the shopping center is air-conditioned and plenty choices available. I was attracted by this Udon house, they are intelligent enough to display their set meal at the entrance!

Irresistibly walking into the restaurant after looking as their "udon set" in the transparent cabinet.
It is located at the 1st floor of Bugis Juction, neighbouring with other F&B restaurant, such as Seoul Garden.
The interior design of the restaurant

Tofu Hamburger "House Special" Set  S$12.90
Zaru Udon & Soba Mix + Shrimp Kakiage Set  S$12.90
Nabeyaki Udon + Tempura Don Set  S$12.90
Nabeyaki Udon + Katsu Don Set S$12.90
Pork Cutlet Set  S$12.90
Pork Kimunchi Nabeyaki  S$10.90
I would recommend this restaurant for the decent portion of the food at reasonable price.Even a guy is extremely filling by the portion of food, because they creatively combine rice and udon in a set.I would dedicate my love to the udon. The Udon is super springy, as it is handmade.

The Expendables 2 @ Lotus Five Star,  IOI MALL, Kulai

The Expendables are reunited when Mr. Church enlists them to take on a seemingly simple job. When things go wrong, the Expendables are compelled to seek revenge in hostile territory, where the odds are stacked against them. Hell-bent on payback, the crew cuts a swath of destruction through opposing forces, wreaking havoc and shutting down an unexpected threat in the nick of time - five tons of weapons-grade plutonium, more than enough to change the balance of power in the world. But that's nothing compared to the justice they serve against the villainous adversary they seek revenge from.

Yun Yun Loy Wantan Noodles 远远来云吞面 @ Taman Kulai, Kulaijaya, Johor

Yun Yun Loy Wantan Noodles远远来云吞面@ Taman Kulai

A very traditional and original Wantan mee stall. This stall was nestled at the same location for almost 30 years and their business never being dropped out. All the old customer and new customer are remained supportive on them and bring them more business. This Wantan noodles stall has been marked as the famous local food which most of the people here are having it almost everyday for breakfast. How serious addiction on that?

 Soup version  RM4
Dry version with a bowl of Wantan Soup

I like the noodles very much. Their noodles was freshly handmade daily and limited stock only. Better be there early to avoid disappointing. The noodles very springy and size of noodles are slightly thinner than ordinary one. Yum Yum.. Beside their noodles is great, their wantan (dumpling) are even better. They use fresh meat as the ingredients inside the wantan (dumpling), marinated using some sesame oil, successfully remove the smell of pork. It look nothing special from cover, but when putting on mouth, it taste very good. As the wantan mee are added in their secret recipe make its better taste.

The Launch of P1’s ForBiz™ Fiber Plan

The Launch of P1’s ForBiz™ Fiber Plan

A demonstration was staged by Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (P1) to express its strong commitment to deliver affordable high speed broadband to small and medium businesses. The demonstration was followed by the launch of P1’s ForBiz™ Fiber plan which will change the market landscape by being the first sub-RM100 fiber Internet plan for business.
The demonstration by a large group of dissatisfied small and medium business owners at the P1 HQ, while staged, aims to bring to light that high speed business broadband is inaccessible to the bigger majority even though it is a business essential in today’s digital world.
“Imagine how much more fluid businesses would be if you can send and download a big file in seconds, access information instantaneously, engage with customers and your business network in real time wherever they may be. Fiber Internet gives you that kind of speed and every business should have it,” said P1 CEO, Michael Lai.
Lai estimated that only fractions of the small to medium businesses have high speed fiber Internet. The adoption rate is much slower than residential users although businesses need more speed and more quota while keeping their overhead low.

The new P1 ForBiz™ Fiber plans are the lowest price business Fiber Internet plans in the market. However, the stars are its 5Mbps and 20Mbps plans which will be offered at only RM99 and RM199 respectively. This is a limited time offer by P1 to spur adoption of high speed broadband by businesses, especially the small and medium businesses which are Malaysia’s engine of growth.
Lai said at the launch, “P1 is also the “SME” in the telco world and we fully understand the business needs of growing companies. The ForBiz™ Fiber plan at RM99 is to empower small and medium businesses to be just as competitive as their larger counterparts. In this digital world, we believe that our new lower price offering will help level the playing field and may even be the inflection point for highly affordable high speed broadband business plans.”

In Malaysia, over 90% of businesses consist of the small and medium enterprises, and they face numerous challenges to penetrate into export markets due to limited access to new technologies. Even for these businesses to make it locally, they must learn to leverage the fast growing trend of digital advertising, cloud services, internet shopping and new smartphone applications.
“With the competitive and tough business landscape of today, we believe that SMEs and SOHOs need all the help they can get to strengthen competitiveness and resilience to face harsh business environments.” Lai said.

P1 has also been working with business and technology partners to develop programmes, talks, and workshops for business owners with the goal to help them fully leverage the digital revolution for their business success.
