Fresca Mexican Kitchen & Bar @ The Gardens Mall, Mid Valley City, KL

Fresca Mexican Kitchen & Bar @ The Gardens Mall, Mid Valley City

Few days ago, I visited to this newly opened Mexican restaurant at The Gardens. Their modern yet special decoration caught my first sight. A very unique restaurant with the interior uses a mix of distressed brick and rustic timber, intricately dovetailed with contemporary industrial elements. It creates a very comfort ambiance to all their diner. Truly a suitable place to distress after a long day working or place to chill up with some friends.
Come with an introduction, Fresca (meaning "fresh" or "cool" in Spanish, the official language of Mexico) brings classic Mexican cuisine to Kuala Lumpur. The idea came about by two adventure-seeking siblings who fell in love with Mexican food and the country's passion for La Vida.
Fresca specializes in "botanas", small plates, easy for sharing among friends and family. They use only the freshest ingredients. Their pico de gallo (tomato salsa) and guacamole are prepared daily : their corn tortillas are home-made and hand-pressed the traditional way. Specially imported Mexican chiles ( guajillo, ancho, chiplotle, jalapenos, poblano, pasilla) give a unique range of flavours to their food.

The interior uses a mix of distressed brick and rustic timber, intricately dovetailed with contemporary industrial elements, giving an overall modern Mexican restaurant look and feel.
Kicks start with some of their Fresca Special Creation drinks. This will be more interesting to see the real photo, instead of just checking through the menu. Sincerely, I get myself slightly intoxicated after taste a few glasses of cocktails, not only caused by the contained alcohol, but also the delicious taste of the drink itself. Absolutely nice! I am thinking to get more soon.
