Safa Middle East Restaurant @ Palm Square Ampang Point, Ampang

The Safa Middle-East Restaurant is located at De Palma Hotel compound but it is not attached or having any relationship with De Palma Hotel and it is operated indepently by its very friendly and cheerful boss origin from somewhere in Middle-Eastern. They served really good  Egypt  & Iranian cuisine as their master chef are from Egypt . It has been here for many years yet due to less exposure on media, it remains hidden and undiscovered by food lover. I believe they need a little bit of advertising to boost their business up, and they did it now.

My first impression of this restaurant was bad. However, it successful changes my impression to be good and lastly love this place just because they serve really great and delicious food. Honestly, I think they should  add few air-condition if financial allowed or just add few more ceiling fan will do to change the hot and stuffy feel. I guess most the people refuse to stay longer in hot room.

A simple setting and quite similar dine at village restaurant.

Beside this, they also offer shisha with all popular flavours.

Nothing much to say with this, I just love the chicken compare to lamb (photo above). It was very flavorful with the regular spices. When chewed in my mouth, I can feel the chicken running into my stomach. Kidding on this.

From the presentation there, both kebab look normal . Yet, the taste is just excellent when I putting in my mouth. Especially, the lamb kebab was accidentally turn to be all our favorite dish of the day. Thumb up!

Barley Soup

Not to forget, actually on that night we were dine with 35 orphans from Akademi Tahfiz Al-Hidayah (ATAH), Jalan Gurney. I know they were very enjoy on the night from their happy-looking faces.They were quite enjoying the food served from Safa. All the foods were easily filled them up as same for me.

My little portion of meal as now I'm controlling my diet due to my increasing weight recently. Stay healthy, eat less is my lifestyle now.

Lastly my buffet dinner done with bread Naa wrapped all ingredients served on buffet line and so for the Barley soup. A friendly reminder for those 1st timer to middles east food, the Barley soup are to be eaten with the bread, as the soup itself is quite salty. No complaint on their food, I personally like it very much.
