The Speakeasy Restaurant & Bar @ Jalan Ampang , KL

The Speakeasy Restaurant & Bar @ Jalan Ampang

The Speakeasy Restaurant & Bar is a hidden restaurant in town. The name, was inspired by such establishment that was prominent in the United States during Prohibition period(1920-1933).

For some who familiar this place, you might know of this restaurant. A very nice place to having lunch or meal. Not only because the ambiance in this restaurant is so warm, and of course their food were awesome. Specially here thanks to their Chef Rajesh for preparing this nice food. I do enjoy the food very much and glad to said that I love it.

For short, Chef Rajesh, who has 18 years of experience in opening & running restaurant in Malaysia & Jordan, which includes Frangipani, The C. Club Restaurant, Bijou & Lenorte Paris (Amman, Jordan). Chef Rajesh current task at Speakeasy is to revamp the existing classic Western & Asian menu to a modern European & classic Malaysian menu.
For some who don't know about this restaurant, its was standing here for more than six years long and serving only for lunch and dinner during weekdays. At the moment, Speakeasy serves classic Western & Asian food. In future, I guess they might be change their business hours to daily and slightly change on their menu to modern European & classic Malaysian food. Moreover, what you can see this place with the pictures below. You definitely will not seeing this view again for early next year 2012. As I know, they will be renovate it and serve you better.

They like to recreate the early 20th century experience for modern KL
