Yuna's Fans to Inspire Her Next Song

Singing phenomenon Yunalis Zarai fondly known as ‘Yuna’, has become the nation's most popular singer on facebook with a 650,000 strong fan base which is growing by the day. Yuna along with kyanite.tv (co-creators of Project Alpha featuring Malaysia's top bloggers, and producers of Astro Hitz's recent Spinmaster DJ reality show) has just launched an exciting, innovative project called Astro Hitz "Yuna Inspired" Powered By DiGi (official mobile internet partner), with Canon as official camera sponsor and Malaysia Airlines as the official flight sponsor.

Astro Hitz "Yuna Inspired" Powered By DiGi is more than just a platform to connect with her fans; it is an interactive way to share creativity and ideas for her next song. The Yuna-Inspired contest is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for fans to “inspire” Yuna, by helping her to finish the lyrics of her latest song and to invite her followers to send in videos of their own renditions of this song. Every week, Yuna will post up a verse of the song, missing a single line. ‘Inspired’ is when her fans tweet or facebook their suggestions to Yuna to complete each verse, thus ‘inspiring’ Yuna to finish her song. Weekly winners not only win cool prizes like Canon cameras, a signed guitar from The Guitar Store, exclusive invites to the ‘Secret Concert’ held at the end of the project, but they also stand a chance to be a part of Yuna's music video.

Astro Hitz "Yuna Inspired" Powered By DiGi will also be following Yuna, from Kuala Lumpur all the way to London, flying on Malaysia Airlines (official flight sponsor).Captured in reality format, the show, directed by JoJo Struys, will give fans a real peek into Yuna's everyday life.

Produced by Kyanite Sdn Bhd, Astro Hitz "Yuna Inspired" Powered By DiGi will go live every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from the first week of March 2011 on www.yunainspired.com. The website will go live on 14 February 2011.
